The photo's were not immediately developed. Initially the Seattle police department didn't even want to develop the crime scene photo's because in their minds Kurt Cobain had already commited suicide when they entered the greenhouse. Courtney spread around that Kurt was suicidal and used his druguse to get him trapped.

The statement: Suicide, was used on the same day as when Kurt was found. Cleary a rush to judgement. There was no thoroughly investigation done and therefore important evidence found on the crime scene was destroyed. Only months and years later the evidence that was collected by the Seattle police department was investigated. By then, they coudn't find anything.

Photo's taken of the crime scene on April, 8 1994. The rest of the crime scene photo's where developed 20 years after they where taken, because of pressure from fans and (social) media.
