I know that people love the fairytale of the genius self destructed Punk who 'tragically killed himself'. People just love this story. If you see how much money is made after his death. Many books were written and documentaries about the 'sad and tragic self destructive Punk Cobain' who was mentally not good in the head. Ahhh wellll, it happenend before.... another Ian Curtis?? And the media did their part as well. Kurt knew what I was talking about when I was still alive he once said:
“I feel like people want you to die, because it would be the classic rock-and-roll story,” Cobain says in “Montage of Heck
Too bad for those that are obsessed with Cobain killing himself, but things don't add up and I am not the only one saying Kurt didn't do this to himself. Others started to come out as wel, like Dr. Cyril Wrecht (an American forensic pathologist, now 92; he served in Pittsburgh, Pa. at various times as County Commissioner, Allegheny County Coroner & Medical Examiner. High-profile cases he has worked on include Robert F. Kennedy, Sharon Tate, Brian Jones, John F. Kennedy, Elvis Presley, Jon Benét Ramsey,
Dr. Wecht has performed and/or supervised over 38,000 autopsies, including everything from drug overdoses to murders and suspicious deaths. Kim Gordon was a good friend of Kurt Cobain, she played in a band: Sonic Youth and they and Kurt were really close and Kim Gordon clearly doesn't believe Kurt killed himself.
In 2005, Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon was asked about Cobain's death in an interview for Uncut Magazine: Gordon:"I don't even know that he killed himself. There are people close to him wo don't think he did." Interview: Do you believe that Kurt was killed by someone else? Gordon: "I do, yes."
How did friends react when Kurt Had Died?
Cobain's many friends he'd met over the years were similarly shocked by the news of Kurt's death.
Mark Lanegan - a founding member of psychedelic grunge band Screaming Trees and a long-time friend of Cobain - told Rolling Stone: "I never knew Cobain to be suicidal. I just
knew he was going through a tough time."
Thurston Moore - Gordon's then-husband and fellow Sonic Youth member said in the same interview that Cobain "actually killed himself violently."
"It was so aggressive, and he wasn't an aggressive person, he was a smart person, he had an interesting intellect.
"So it kind of made sense because it was like: wow, what a f***ing gesture. But at the same time it was like: something's wrong with that gesture. It doesn't really lie with what we know."
