Incident Assault June 4, 1993

Police were called reguraly. On June 4, 1993, Courtney called the Seattle police to say that she and Kurt where in an argument over guns in the household. That Courtney threw a glass of juice in Kurt's face and that Kurt harmed Courtney by pushing her in return. She said that Kurt wanted to choke her, leaving her a scratch on her forearm.

Later when questioned by police, Love said that she herself created the scratch to her forearm with a piece of glass when they where going to arrest Cobain.

There was not enough evidence to proof that Cobain hurt Courtney in June 1993.

She is calm, not crying, nor is she yelling or speaking quickly on the 911 tape. There were no witnesses to see what happend between them. There is no indiciation that Courtney was in severe stress because of the 'assault'.
